Dynamic OC Switcher

For the next level of frequency flexibility, the ROG Strix X870E-E features a built-in clock generator that isolates the CPU base clock from memory, PCIe, and Infinity Fabric speeds. Push CPU performance to its absolute limit while maintaining the stability of related clock domains. Separate CPU BCLK from other domains for unhindered overclocking.

AMD Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO) pushes the CPU power and voltage budget to opportunistically boost performance.

ASUS Enhanced Memory Profile (AEMP) is an exclusive firmware feature for PMIC-limited memory modules. AEMP automatically detects the memory chips on your kit and then presents optimized frequency, timing, and voltage profiles that you can easily apply for increased performance.

DDR5 Strength

For those eager to fly past standard DDR5 speeds, the Strix X870-A is primed for enthusiast kits, thanks to extensive AMD EXPO (Extended Profiles for Overclocking) support. Experienced users can further tweak performance via the extensive range of settings in UEFI.

M.2 COMBO-SINK

This M.2 heatsink integrates a U-shaped heat pipe for direct contact to achieve optimal operating temperatures, and it has been upgraded with a larger surface area for even more cooling.

An integrated backplate helps ensure high-performance drives can deliver peak performance, even when airflow is limited.

M.2 HEATSINKS

Heatsinks cover all slots to keep onboard NVMe SSDs at optimal temperatures for consistent performance and reliability.

Two thick VRM heatsinks are linked by a heat pipe, sharing cooling capacity across VRMs and providing ample surface area and mass to tackle the power demands of high-performance AMD Ryzen™ 9000 series processors.

Built-in Intel® 2.5Gb Ethernet boosts wired connectivity, with speeds 2.5 times faster than standard Ethernet connections, for fast file transfers, low-latency gaming, and high-resolution video streaming.

The Strix X870E-E fully embraces the new standard and offers end-to-end PCIe 5.0 support. The top x16 expansion slot is Gen 5-ready and is protected by a SafeSlot bracket to withstand the weight of the latest graphics cards. Three of the onboard M.2 slots are equipped for read and write speeds of 16 GB/s thanks to the PCIe 5.0 interface, while all the rest can deliver still impressive 8 GB/s transfers. Each M.2 slot is covered with substantial heatsinks to dissipate heat from next-generation hard drives.
